The garden views from our balcony were enchanting.

Reaching the Old Smithy was a bit of a challenge, as the narrow single-track road felt daunting at first. While I eventually appreciated the seclusion, it did create a sense of isolation. the lack of nearby entertainment options left us feeling somewhat stranded after sunset.

Chur, we had a fab time! Chris and Diane were super friendly, the cake was a sweet touch, but the area felt a bit quiet for night-time fun.

what a disappointment this stay was! the road to the Old Smithy is an absolute nightmare, and who woudl ve thought i’d be sharing a space with wild chickens? i almost wrote a good review, but the lack of complimentary upgrades or gestures was simply unacceptable. this place really doesn’t deserve any praise.

We spent three lovely nights enjoying the peaceful balcony views. The warm welcome included delicious homemade cake, perfect for relaxing evenings. Although the single track road was a bit tricky initially, it ultimately added to the charm. I recommend visiting the nearby park for stunning walks.
